New York is probably the most famous and known city in the world, but it's also quite expensive. The entrance fee to most of the museums and other attractions cost around 20-25 dollars, and with more than 80 atractions all over the city, the cost to get to know the most iconic places rises high.
Luckily there are some "tips" so you can save yourself some bucks here and there.
And one of them, is visiting the exentric MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) on Fridays afternoons: from 4 to 8 pm. La entrance is free at those hours, and there you have six floors full of exposicions from reconized artists from all around the world, theaters where films are proyected, some coffee shops and official museum stores.
Where?: 11 W. 53rd Street (between the 5th and 6th Ave.)
Entrance cost: Adults US$25 / Students US$14/+65 US$18 / Under 16 - free
Fridays from 4:00 - 8:00 pm - entrance is free.

Nueva York es quizas la ciudad mas importante y conocida del planeta, pero tambien es costosa. La entrada a la mayoria de los museos/sitios turisticos ronda los 20-25 dolares, y con mas de 80 atracciones por toda la ciudad, el costo para conocer lugares iconicos se va a las nubes.
Por suerte, hay varios "trucos" para ahorrarse unos cuantos dolares aqui y alla. Y uno de ellos, es visitando el excentrico MoMA (Museum of Modern Art ) los viernes por la tarde: de 4 a 8 pm. La entrada es sin costo dentro de ese horario, y alli se localizan 6 pisos llenos de exposiciones de artistas reconocidos de todas partes del mundo, salas de proyecion de films, varias cafeterias y tiendas oficiales del museo.

Una vez allí, puedes tomar para el recorrido un reproductor de audio y unos auriculares sin costo, que funcionan como una guía audio.
Eso seria lo básico del lugar, en cuanto a mi opinión personal, me pareció un lugar realmente interesante y excéntrico, con una vasta variedad de obras y artistas. Lamentablemente las 4 horas de acceso gratuito no dan para recorrer todo el lugar, quizás con suerte llegues a la mitad de los pisos.
