First Impression: John Frieda Forever Smooth Collection
I received my first Influenster Vox Box the other day. Also my first time using John Frieda products. They sent me their Smooth Forever - Frizz Ease Collection, which I can't deny, it's a perfect match for my current hair situation.

Facing Your Fears / Enfrentar Tus Miedos
If you had asked me a year ago what I would see myself doing in the nearby future, I would have never said "attending a modelling casting", that's for sure. But over the last months, I have been making changes. Not only on the outside (lighter hair, perfecting my makeup routine and outfits) but also on the inside: mentally progressing towards a more positive state of mind. I finally decided to stop being so hard on myself. And honestly, I feel silly for not doing it before. But I guess I had to go through all the difficult and uncomfortable moments I went through to progress and become who I am today.
I had to know what hitting rock bottom and not liking one single part of myself felt like. I had to look for excuses for everything, especially for why I wasn't capable of doing this or that. I had to look for excuses for not being happy.
Now, I still have a long way to go, but I am really proud of how far I have come. And feeling even more motivated to keep going after I realized that facing my fears and stepping out of my comfort zone is the only way to evolve as a person.
I realized that being afraid for all those years wasn't worth it. Those are years that haven't really helped me progress much, and all because I was afraid to do things I wanted to do. Just for the sake of doing them.
Just like yesterday, I went to this modelling casting for a known clothing brand. I know I won't be disappointed with myself or feel sad if I never here from them again, cause I did it for the sake of doing it. Just to face my fear of being exposed. Of being judged and observed in detail.
And nothing went wrong. In fact I felt so accomplished afterwards that I was shocked. I had been fantasizing of doing something like that for years, years that I spent watching America's Next Top Model and wondering what it would be like to be a part of a similar experience. To expose yourself like that but at the same time be a part of something bigger.
I'm not wanting to be a model. Just wanted to try something I found interesting and that was completely out of my comfort zone. And I did. And nothing went wrong.

Vision / Inspiration Board
Finally!! After a few weeks of gathering the stuff I needed to get started, here I am.
The process itself doesn't really need to much explaining. Simply get a cork board, that you can paint or decorate it's frame however you like the most. And the rest is up to personal likes and wishes.

Me deje estar mucho para hacer esto, para variar. Hace unas semanas fui comprando cosa por cosa hasta que llegue a tener todo lo necesario para poder armar la pizarra a mi gusto.
El proceso no tiene mucha ciencia. Simplemente una pizarra/cartelera de corcho, que puedes pintar o decorar el marco a tu antojo. Y lo demás es simplemente gustos y pensamientos personales.

-Travel
-Fashion
-Architecture
-Motivational quotes
-Things I find pretty/attractive or that are of my interest.

Si traté de enfocarme en ciertas áreas al buscar imágenes:

-Arquitectura
-Frases motivadoras
-Cosas que me resultan lindas/atractivas o me interesan
Y bueno, demás estar decir que puedes ir agregando o quitando lo que creas sea necesario, modificando el contenido conforme lo que vaya sucediendo en tu vida.
